I really wish I could verbalize how fucking beautiful and phenomenal and stressful and magical and exciting it was to see them from the front of the pit last night, but I can’t. There are absolutely no words that will adequately express how absolutely wonderful that show was. I have not been able to stop thinking about it all day, and I’m still in so much pain from dancing and jumping like crazy during the show. I lined up at 7:30AM to acquire my spot, and I didn’t get a chance to sit down until midnight. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to do it all over again.
Without exaggeration, this show was one of, if not the, best moments of my entire life.

I’m peppered across this video because we were in the very front row (if you look closely, you can see me touching the stage) but at 58 seconds in, you can see me and cales sitting on our friends’ shoulders. We saw Turquoise Jeep faintly through the fence, and as their biggest fans (you have no idea) we had to meet them. It was incredible. Fun Fun Fun Fest was the most fun I have had in such a long time.

Donald Glover performed his standup and his music as Childish Gambino this weekend during Fun Fun Fun Fest, and I was lucky enough to see both. A friend of mine was lucky enough to catch him walking around and got him to sign her poster. He’s so hilarious and so musically talented that after Camp, if he isn’t universally considered the coolest guy in the world by 2012, there is no justice.
