Most of Lana Del Rey’s Born to Die is unspectacular, but, uh… I really like this song. I think it’s fucking fantastic. I’d go so far as to say that this is my jam right now.

Consequence’s verse in this song is absolutely Christopher Bridges. Ego be damned, this is my favorite song off of Late Registration, and one of my favorite Kanye songs period.

The song attached to this post is entitled “Pray For The Girls.” It is a song released by Frank Black of the Pixies in the summer of 2000 for the Powerpuff Girls: Heroes & Villains soundtrack. I have had this soundtrack CD since I was 8. I still unabashedly listen to it all the time. It reminds me of my (younger) youth and I consider it the first time I voluntarily listened to the type of music I consider “good” nowadays. Devo, Cornelius, & Apples In Stereo also contributed incredible tracks to the record. It is a terrific album, no sarcasmo. The Powerpuff Girls was also a terrific television show that is still a very good television show to watch. That is all.
