The song attached to this post is entitled “Pray For The Girls.” It is a song released by Frank Black of the Pixies in the summer of 2000 for the Powerpuff Girls: Heroes & Villains soundtrack. I have had this soundtrack CD since I was 8. I still unabashedly listen to it all the time. It reminds me of my (younger) youth and I consider it the first time I voluntarily listened to the type of music I consider “good” nowadays. Devo, Cornelius, & Apples In Stereo also contributed incredible tracks to the record. It is a terrific album, no sarcasmo. The Powerpuff Girls was also a terrific television show that is still a very good television show to watch. That is all.
Wolfmother - Vagaond
I will admit, I’ve been really harsh on Wolfmother in the past. But to my defense, Woman and Joker & The Thief are two of the most annoying promotional tools used for anything ever. If you use either of those two songs either in the product or to promote the product, the only thing that will convince me to buy it is Zach Galifianakis.
I’m not entirely sure where I was going with this, so I’ll just say that this is a song off of the (500) Days Of Summer soundtrack (yes, again.) so enjoy it. I haven’t heard one song off of this soundtrack that I haven’t liked, but I also haven’t listened to the entire thing. I’m not very good at listening to full albums all at once. I’ll get around to it, eventually.
Also, I have no idea why the title is “Vagabond.” This song has nothing to do hobos. At all.
